Installation Guide

Steering, airbag and electrical systems are safety-sensitive. Use this page as a high-level installation guide and pair it with model-specific instructions where available.

Safety first: If you are not trained to work with steering-wheel, airbag or electrical systems, use a qualified automotive technician. Incorrect installation may create a serious safety risk.

Before Installation

  • Confirm the product matches your vehicle and original steering-wheel configuration.
  • Compare buttons, connectors, paddles and other required components.
  • Inspect the new part for shipping damage before beginning.
  • Review vehicle-manufacturer procedures for airbag and battery isolation.

Prepare the Vehicle

Park safely, secure the vehicle and follow the manufacturer procedure for power isolation before working around the airbag system.

Remove the Original Wheel

Follow the correct vehicle-specific procedure. Avoid pulling or damaging airbag, button, heating or control wiring.

Transfer Required OEM Components

Where the purchased configuration requires original buttons, airbag, trim or wiring, transfer only the compatible components and follow the correct orientation.

Install and Connect

Install the steering wheel using the correct alignment, hardware and torque specifications for the vehicle.

Test Functions

After safe reconnection, verify steering-wheel controls, horn, paddles, heating and other functions before normal driving.

After Installation

If warning lights appear, controls do not function correctly, or the wheel is not correctly centered, stop and have the installation checked before driving normally.
